Telematics Engineer (telecommunication, computing and electronics) holding several certifications for both IBM and Microsoft products as well as ITIL Version 3 Foundation.
Many years of experience with international IT Operations, Project participation, Solution maintenance and Change Management from large companies like Bennett BTI, Norsk Hydro and EDB Business Partner as well as serving customers like Yara, REC and Statoil. Currently working in the municipal administration of Nittedal kommune as an "IT Advisor."
Main focus on implementation and operation of a range of IBM and Microsoft products like Domino Notes, Sametime, Exchange 2007/2010, Office, Lync 2010, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Active Directory, System Center Operations Manager, System Center Configuration Manager, Sharepoint, SQL and WSUS. Experience with VMware and Hyper-V as well as some Citrix and Cisco network infrastructure. Also some experience with special applications used by departments in municipal administration.
Part of my job has been to follow up and collaborate with external vendors to solve problems and find appropriate solutions as well as 3rd. line troubleshooting, user assistance/support and counseling our customers.

EDB Business Partner - Senior System Consultant (Dec. 2008 - Nov. 2010).
In 2008 Hydro IS Partner was sold to EDB Business Partner when Norsk Hydro merged with Statoil. Working in EDB I changed from having Domino Notes as my primary focus to work with implementation and operation of Exchange 2007 and Office Communication Server 2007 for EDB's customers, including several of the largest banks in Norway.
Participated as a key member in worldwide migration, consolidation and implementation of a new Exchange 2007/OCS solution for Renewable Energy Corporation (REC). Continued operating REC's Exchange/OCS environment until I ended my engagement with EDB.
Norsk Hydro - Hydro Data/IS Partner - Senior System Consultant (Sept. 1997 - Dec. 2008).
Senior System Consultant in the Global Infrastructure Services - Messsaging and Collaboration Team - Hydro IS Partner (former Hydro Data). Responsibilities were within Solution Management, Day-to-Day Operations and Change activities (projects). Primary tasks were worldwide implementation, operation and maintenance of IBM Domino Notes and associated solutions. Also worked with installation and operation of collaboration tools like Teamrooms, Sametime, Webmeetings, CommonStore mail archiving etc., both for internal and external use as well as 3rd line support for our customers.
Participating in projects testing and implementing new solutions. Writing of documentation and procedures both for customers and internal use. Taking part in worldwide homeduty services within my teams responsibilities. Gaining thorough experience working in accordance With Company-wide procedures as well as developing and writing such procedures when required.
Bennett BTI - System Consultant (July 1994 - Sept. 1997).

Bennett BTI was at the time the largest Business-travel company in Scandinavia. I worked as a System Consultant at the head office in Oslo and I had a variety of responsibilities within running of the IT systems in the company.
Bennett Reisebureau A/S - Travel Agent (Jan. 1994 - July 1994).
For a short time before requesting transfer to the IT department in Oslo I worked as a Travel Agent in the Bennett Reisebureau's local branch in Aalesund.
Nørvasund Skole - Employee (Oct. 1993 - Jan. 1994).
For a while I also worked in a local elementary school where I assisted a disabled child who was dependent of using computerized equipment. I also participated in ordinary classes and even stood in for the teacher at some occasions.

Company specializes in selling electronic components and office equipment.
I had the responsibility of introducing a new security system (ANTENNA) targeted for old people/institutions to all the counties in the “Møre & Romsdal” area and parts of the “Sogn og Fjordane” area. This work consisted of:
* Active sale, writing and sending information about the system to targeted customers.
* Hosting demonstrations of the system.
* Customer “follow-up”.
* Testing of new products.
* Installations of the alarm system.
* Programming and service of the system.
* Education of users.
* Work with the PC based alarm receiver (software and hardware)..

Nittedal Kommune - IKT-rådgiver (Nov. 2010 - Des. 2015).
Key participant in planning and implementation of migration to a new Windows
2008 R2, Active Directory and Exchange 2010 environment and subsequent
operation and support of this environment. Implemented and operate Lync Server, WSUS patching solution for 100+ servers and System Center Operations Manager. Participated in inclusion of Windows Server 2012 into production and installation and operation of virtual platforms such as VMWare and Hyper-V. Also operational experience with Citrix environments. Some experience with Cisco networks.
Creation of Service Level Agreements and the IKT-departments first Product Catalog. Handling planned maintenance tasks on above mentioned solutions as well as user administration, 2. line support and customer counceling. Participation in selection of new Helpdesk solution. Have passed ITIL Version 3 Foundation certification. Taking part in different projects for testing and implementing new solutions and systems. Facilitating and implementing customer specific requests and orders. Has functioned as acting Head of Unit during managers summer vacation and other absence.
